Mathematics plays a crucial role in our daily lives; it is the foundation of a global society. Logical thinking has a positive influence on learning in general, and it is one of the most important factors contributing to mathematical learning. Our biggest wish is for junior students to have a good time and enjoy each class. We want every student to realize that learning math is not about doing endless amounts of homework; we want it to be a fun activity because we believe that the driving force of learning comes from interests!
Our math club runs four cohorts: Grade 3-4, Grade 4-5, Grade 5-6, and Grade 6-7. The course content will be divided into two parts: mathematics application and logical thinking. In terms of math applications, we go through key points from the school curriculum, past math contest questions, and on top of that we add in some Singaporean math application problems, which is very challenging. On the logical thinking part, there will be graphs, shapes, and case studies for students to engage in.
