Welcome to Science 3-6!
Why do plants require sunlight to grow? Why do oceans have waves? Why do salmon travel so far back to their spawning grounds? Everything around us can be described through science! In reality, science is just a sneaky explanation for things we can observe. The change of a caterpillar to the butterfly or the growth of a tree from a seed may seem like magic. Our grades 3-6 courses aims to promote children’s interests in science by showing how it is integrated in our daily lives through presentations and fun facts!

Hi, I'm Laurence, a French Immersion student at McRoberts Secondary. My academic strengths are quite diverse but especially centred around Science, Math, and French. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies such as camping, volleyball, basketball, and fishing. As for the outdoors, I’ve always liked spending my time outside underneath the sun, observing the surroundings and taking in nature’s sights. My reading comprehension and problem analysis abilities were battle-hardened from tutoring my sister at home and gathered from the many books I've read. Like a prospering ecosystem, I hope that we can teach and learn from and to each other.

Hey! My name’s Jasper, just a friendly guy with a burning passion for science. I go to Hugh McRoberts Secondary; I’m currently in the French immersion program where most of my classes are in French, so I can really get used to the language. When I’m not learning something new, I like to read, play video games, and play volleyball in my spare time.
