Reading and writing are part of our daily lives. It is how we communicate and express our feelings and imagination. What can students get from reading? Students can develop empathy. When we read a book, we put ourselves in the perspectives of characters and build connections. Creative literature is a necessary skill to develop one’s ability to write with free flow and style. It allows students to express their emotions and thoughts through writing by creating stories and unique characters. It also allows us to connect our own experiences with storybooks or novels. A book can take us anywhere: to another city, to a different country, or even to an alternative world. By reading a book, students can learn about people, places, and events that they couldn’t learn otherwise. This can show them a world that is different from what they are familiar with; imagination is limitless.
