 International Youth Forum 2026 

International Youth Forum (IYF) 2026

Join us for the International Youth Forum 2026, organized by the BC Children and Youth Connection Society. This online forum provides young people worldwide with a platform to share their perspectives and experiences on topics such as mental health, stress management, emotional regulation, autism and neurodiversity, social skills, self-esteem, mental health in the digital age, cultural differences, resilience, and positive psychology. The forum encourages intercultural dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas among youth globally. 

Forum Themes

Stress Management

 Explore strategies for recognizing and managing stress effectively. 

Emotions and Self-Awareness

Discuss the importance of emotional regulation and developing self-awareness. 

Autism and Neurodiversity

Share knowledge about autism and neurodiversity while promoting understanding and inclusion. 

Social Skills and Relationships

Analyze the challenges and skills needed to build and maintain healthy social relationships. 

Self-Esteem and Identity

Reflect on ways to develop a positive self-image and a strong sense of identity. 

Mental Health in the Digital Age

Examine the impact of the digital world on youth mental health and strategies for coping. 

Mental Health Across Cultures

Share diverse cultural perspectives on mental health and approaches to well-being. 

Resilience and Positive Psychology

Discuss how to build resilience and apply principles of positive psychology in daily life. 

Brain and Neuroscience

Explore how the brain develops during adolescence, how mental health is connected to brain function, and how neuroscience can inform strategies for learning, emotional regulation, and well-being.

Expression Formats and Duration

While PowerPoint presentations will be the primary format, participants are also encouraged to express their ideas and values through a variety of creative forms — including news broadcasts, interviews, poetry, drama, animation, storytelling, documentaries, posters, artwork, skits, talk shows,   music, songs, short films, debates, podcasts, photography, and more. 

 

Each group will have 5 to 10 minutes to present and showcase their work.

Participants will ask meaningful questions, explore solutions, and learn from one another. This forum is not just a discussion—it is a commitment to act together for a more inclusive future that prioritizes youth mental health and development.
