Art is a visual object or experience consciously created through an expression of skill or imagination. Each individual's creativity, dreams, and voices can be expressed through art. Whether it is watercolour, oil painting, digital art, or more, there's a medium for everyone.

I can speak Mandarin very well, so I believe that if my students don’t really understand English, I can help them! I have been drawing since I was a child, but I did not regard drawing as my hobby. I started to like drawing when I was in Grade 6. Why did I suddenly like painting? It is because one day, I saw a very beautiful drawing on the Internet. As soon as I saw this drawing, I wanted to try to draw a picture by myself. At the beginning, the drawings I drew were not pretty at all, but I liked my own drawings at that time; I continued to draw. Time passed slowly, and my drawings improved. I am able to draw great sketches and animations. I also learn watercolour from online tutorials at home. Now I am learning to paint oil paintings.

Hi, my name is Charlie Du, and I am currently a student studying at Steveston-London Secondary School. During my spare time, I like to draw. I think doing art can reduce my mental stress and strengthen my imagination. I learned sketching and water painting ever since I was interested, and I’m still learning right now! My favourite subject

My favourite subjects are math and art. I believe that math can help me think faster and art can help me think further. During other unoccupied time, I like to do some sports, such as playing basketball and jogging. I’m a friendly person, I like to make friends. The interesting thing is that sometimes, I will be shy to have some conversations, but I still like to talk with other people. My dream is to become a great artist who can give people happiness and hope. I want to devote my life to society and try my best to help others.

Hi I'm Kara Jia, a student attending Steveston-London Secondary School. One of my strengths is that I can speak three languages fluently: English, Mandarin, and Cantonese!
